“This is my wish for you: Comfort on difficult days, smiles when sadness intrudes, rainbows to follow the clouds, laughter to kiss your lips, sunsets to warm your heart, hugs when spirits sag, beauty for your eyes to see, friendships to brighten your being, faith so that you can believe, confidence for when you doubt, courage to know yourself, patience to accept the truth, love to complete your life.” - anonymous
We are dedicated to placing the right horse in the right home with the right new owner. Although our main focus is on re-homing and placing retired Thoroughbreds from the track, we also venture to help re-home/retire horses directly from slaughter that we feel are good riding horses or have more to offer and deserve more than just dumped off for kill !! Horses are very special animals and serve such an amazing role in the lives of humans. From therapy riding to trail riding and all the facets in between, horses are truly an American Heritage who deserve kindness and respect. They offer us so much and ask for so little in return.
Please feel free to call or email about any of the horses listed or with a "wish list" horse, as I do not always have all the horses listed on the site ! Please note that some horses listed are not at my facility.
~ IN Loving Memory of Thomas H. Redmond, SR. ~
Thomas H. Redmond, SR, born in Mobile, Alabama June 3, 1928 lived a fulfilling life until he passed away on January 28, 2010. Although he was not a perfect man, he was my father and I loved him very much. He left a great impression on who I am today. My father also loved horses and was a great horseman. If it was not for his love and guidance for me and horses, where would I be today ? I like to believe that he will continue to live on through me and my works. Rest in peace Daddy..... I love you! As we always try to give our very best opinion and best guess from a NON-VETERINARIAN standpoint, we always suggest that the purchaser please have a complete veterinarian check of the animal and/or bring your equine expert to help guide you in a manner of whether or not the horse(s) is a healthy match for your needs and desires. We do not offer any guarantees or warranties on these horses, as sometimes they are very new to our facility. However, on most horses we offer a trial period so that the purchaser can have their own farrier, veterinarian and/or equine professional do a thorough check at their leisure.
